SUMMER COACHES

Challenger Sports offers opportunities for individuals to coach in the USA all Summer long (3 months). As the #1 camp provider in North America we are looking to hire over 1,000 of the best coaches in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland. If accepted as one of our summer staff you are set for the best summer of your lives!

2012 SUMMER COACH COMPENSATION

1. Complete / update online application and choose your recruitment date.
2. Attend Recruitment Day (1st years only) – All staff have to submit your Programme Agreement and $100 deposit.
3. If successful your application will be sent to the Corporate Office in the USA.
4. Successful applicants will be e-mailed a Placement Contract.
5. Only after you have completed and returned your Placement Contract and have submitted the required payments will you be accepted onto the programme.
6. You will apply for a visa and will be required to attend an interview at the US Embassy in London or Belfast.
7. You must attend the compulsory training weekend (Dates TBC).
8. Get on the plane for the best summer of your life.

9 MONTH TRAINERS

Challenger Sports also offers opportunities for both Spring and Fall coaching (5 – 9 months) via our Challenger Soccer Academy. Our Trainers will go into local communities and run weekly team practices, skill programs, coaching clinics and our NEW Mini-Kickers program. 2012 ACADEMY TRAINER COMPENSATION   

ONLY THE BEST SUMMER COACHES CAN PROGRESS TO AN ACADEMY TRAINER. ON RARE OCCASIONS CANDIDATES MAY BECOME A TRAINER WITHOUT EXPERIENCING A SUMMER WITH OUR BRITISH SOCCER CAMPS!

1. Apply for our British Summer Camps and be accepted.
2. Make your Regional Director aware of your desire to continue on as an Academy Trainer.
3. If successful, your RD will send a Trainer Contract.
4. Only after you have completed and returned your Placement Contract will you be accepted as a Trainer.
5. Challenger Sports will extend any VISAs and change flights as needed.
6. Get ready for the next step on your Challenger Sports carear.
   

INTERVIEW SCHEDULE

All prospective coaches should complete the Online Application Form. You will need to select a recruitment date and location from the list provided on the website and we will then contact you by mail to give you information on the day's events and prepare you for your day.

A typical Assessment Day will be similar to as follows.

1. A short presentation on Challenger Sports?
2. Practical coaching demonstration from one of our senior staff.
3. 10 - 15 minutes coaching session ran by each candidate.
4. Individual face to face interview to determine the candidate's suitability to the programme.

Complete the form and post it with your application fee of £35 to the address given on the form.

PLEASE ONLY DO THIS AFTER YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR PLACEMENT CONTRACT FROM THE CORPORATE OFFICE AND SINCE IT IS ONLY VALID IN THE YEAR THAT YOU WORK YOU MUST SEND OFF THE COMPLETED FORM NO EARLIER THAN JANUARY 1ST, 2012.
