CALIFORNIA - I just wanted to thank you for giving my son, "Sir" Jeffrey age 6, an incredible positive soccer and life experience. Barry, Matt, and Rob did an excellent job of improving my son's skills and self-esteem/confidence. These coaches were superb, fun, and professional! I appreciate the time and patience they took with my child in camp. These guys are stars/heroes in my son's eyes and he'll always remeber them. Barry, Matt, and Rob were a class act! They modeled a true love and passion for the game that was contagious! Thank you so much and my son looks forward to next year!!! Sincerely,Michael Gagnon

WASHINGTON - I wanted to take a moment to tell you how much our family enjoyed hosting one of your coaches and how much our son, Gregory, learned from his week-long camp. We have previously hosted and he has previously attended, but this year’s experience was just outstanding. Our family had a great time this week hosting Coach Leanne Kelly, with the added benefit of also spending quite a lot of time with Coach Linsey Kelly. They are quite the dynamic duo. Both are gracious guests who cheerfully joined us in family activities and meals. They were funny, enthusiastic, tidy, and fit themselves immediately into the family—in short, they were perfect houseguests. We especially appreciate how they interacted with our two sons, who now feel they have gained two big sisters. Perhaps more importantly, we want to acknowledge how much our son learned at camp. He has attended British Soccer Camps for two years previously, and he’s gained skills at each one. This year, however, he was fortunate to spend every morning with Coach Leanne. Her teaching and coaching skills were obvious right from the beginning. Clearly, Challenger has a specific program for instruction, and that’s apparent from watching any part of the camp. Leanne, however, has a gift for taking each task and breaking it down to the very basic components, and then building it back up again. Her campers benefited greatly from this coaching style. As a bonus, for two afternoons Coach Leanne and Coach Linsey worked together coaching the full-day session. Our son came home and demonstrated each drill, technique, game, and song from those two sessions. Linsey and Leanne apparently work well as a team—we were amazed at what Gregory gained in so short a time. What fun we’ve had this week! We’re thrilled that you’ve brought Challenger to Edmonds, and we’re grateful for the experience we’ve had with Leanne and Linsey. Thanks for sharing them with us. Sincerely,Ami Samuels & Mark Zacharia

WASHINGTON - This year our family decided to host a coach.....WOW!!! What a fun time we had Linsey Kelly was so wonderful. She not only was she great soccer coach but a delightful, funny and interesting gal from Scotland. We had such a great time, I felt like I said good-bye to a daughter. Linsey was very considerate and kind to my 3 children and for me that says it all. Thank you for picking us to host and thank you for sending such a smart funny and thoughtful young scottish woman our way. We also enjoyed meeting her twin Leanne who was my boys coach. They are both AWESOME. Sincerely, Lisa,Mike,Matt, Alec and Julia Norton

MICHIGAN - Our two sons, Donovan and Blake, recently completed challenger soccer camp in Fremont, Michigan. The three coaches, Dave, Dan and Scott did an awesome job with the kids. The temperature was 90 degrees all week, however the coaches were able to work at a pace the kids were able to keep up with. They made the experience educational and fun. Our kids had so much fun, they didn't complain once about the heat(at least not to mom and dad!) I have heard numerous compliments from other parents regarding the great camp experience their kids had. Our family hosted coach Dave Brown. This was our first time hosting a coach. We all had such an awesome week. Our children have both said it was the best week they have had in their whole life. In addition our family has a great new friend! We would definitely recommend hosting a coach and hope to do it again. Thanks Challenger!!!! John and Dawn Locke

WASHINGTON - Nick Shipway, Ross Morrison, Matt Vickers, Gary Wambeek, Rich Westoby, Paul Dickey, Robert Chidley, Ryhs Williams, Toni Carvill & Suzanne MacTaggart…. Challenger “Legends”. My family had the honor of hosting and getting to know these exceptional individuals over the past two weeks. Ross and Nick were our formal guests, and along with Matt, Rich, Paul, Robert, Toni and Suzanne, ran the Mercer Island camp our sons attended. Through this relationship we were introduced to other coaches and had the opportunity to welcome others into our home during transition weekends…. Words cannot articulate our pleasure with and appreciation for these fine young men and women. They are all to be commended for their level of professionalism, and capacity to represent the values and philosophy of Challenger Sports. We praise them all on a job well done and look forward to doing it again in summer ‘06….Matt & Kathy Kilton

NEW HAMPSHIRE -
I can not thank you enough for working with my son during the week that you were here in Raymond, New Hampshire. My son Stephen received wonderful instruction and a lot of knowledge that he can take with him as he continues to play his favorite sport. You were not only great to him... but to ALL the boys; positive, encouraging, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and just plain fun!! He did not know what to expect from this experience but has taken away a knowledge himself. With the evaluation that you gave him, he now knows his strengths that he can continue to work on to keep them at that high level and his weaknesses that he needs to improve on. He has a clear goal to help him be the soccer player that can not only play the game, but play well with his team. I could go on and on about this whole experience but I will end this with another HUGE thank you and I truly hope you come back next year. Stephen would love to show you how with your guidance, how much he plans on improving! Suzanne Diamond

CALIFORNIA - David, AJ, Lee, and James put on the best soccer camp my kids have ever attended. They were knowledgeable, skilled, funny, and entertaining. They related very well with the kids and kept things moving so that the time just flew. I've been working with our AYSO region for almost 20 years and have never heard such rave reviews from parents and players alike. My daughters, Valerie and Chelsea, came home every night pumped up and talking about what they learned during the day. As a coach I enjoyed watching the coaching style (focused, always moving, never a dull moment) and picked up on some great drills and games. We also had a great time hosting the coaches and getting to spend some time with them outside of the camp. Thank you David, AJ, Lee, and James for making this camp so memorable. We're looking forward to hosting a camp again next year. We hope see some of you then. Best Wishes Tom Cormack.

VIRGINIA - We hosted Coach Tom for the week. He was brilliant! Our week with Challenger Sports and Tom Everson was by far our children's highlight of the summer and only one of them was enrolled in the camp. Tyler, 3 years old, was in the camp and does not transition very well. I was expecting him to cry and hold on to me but he was kept so engaged he forgot to be upset. (Which was great for me) Sloan, 9 years old, has a love for golf and is a red belt black stripe in Tae Kwon Do has never shown a great interest in soccer has now been inspired. I was very impressed with Tom's coaching ability. Being a great coach is not automatically a by-product of being a great player. I coached gymnastics for ten years and he has the coaching ability some never achieve. Tom immediately recognized each player's strengths and weaknesses and kept building on them. He was genuine to each child and never once did I see him miss a teachable moment. It was a wonderful experience and we all owe a big thanks to Coach Tom and Challenger Sports! The Williams Family Hanover, Virginia

TEXAS - I just wanted to let you know how awesome your guys did on this years camp - everyone had a blast: kids, parents, grandparents, everybody!! I loved the positive reinforcement and the 'Learning Through Games' philosophy deployed by the coaches. My child worked with Andy 'Sizzler' Syrett and Andy 'Reyes' Martin and while I struggled to understand them my daughter hung on their every word, learned so many new skills and had so much fun - thank you very much. My husband wants me to also add thanks to Fordy. He never worked with my child as he was working with a Select team, but my husband would spend half of the camp watching his sessions. He is a qualified coach himself and he said he learnt so much just from watching. Fordy was also kind enough to talk about his sessions with my husband afterwards, telling him the coaching points and the thinking behind them. This was very aprreciated as he didn't have to do this. While my knowledge of soccer is minimal to say the least, my husband said the sessions were some of the best he's ever seen, and that Fordy is one of the best coaches he's ever seen. All the coaches on camp are a credit to your organisation, but I just wanted to give those 3 special praise. We were so impressed with them it's made us wanna host next year - where and when can I sign up?! And guys, the REEEEESPECT chant still works - I LOVE IT!!!!!! Joanna

CALIFORNIA - I wanted to e-mail a quick message to tell you how magnificent your coaches were with ALL of the kids at camp. Kirsty McKissock and Jeremy (Jez) Phillips were the coaches and they were positive, encouraging, knowledgable, enthusiastic and just plain fun!! The kids had tons of laughs and learned more than we could have taught them in an entire season. There were moments when they could have lost their patience but they always maintained their composure and professionalism. Not only will we participate in next years camp, but we will recommend it to every parent in our communities soccer program. Please forward this message to Kirsty and Jez supervisor, they deserve a raise!!!!!!! Thank you for the opportunity for our children to be exposed to the positive influence of soccer and your coaching staff. Sincerely, Denise Gunter Parent of Haley and Leah Gunter Travis AFB

WASHINGTON - We recently hosted Rhys Williams here in Friday Harbor. We would be remiss if we did not tell you what a great experience we all had. Rhys was polite, intellegent, funny and great coaching kids of all ages. We would be pleased to act as a host family should he decide to coach in the States again. The other coaches Rob and Andy were also brilliant. We enjoyed showing them all San Juan Island. Thanks for finding such fantastic coaches. Cheers, Diana and Mike Stepita

FLORIDA - I wanted to express my gratitude for the quality of the people on your staff. Not only are they very skilled soccer players, but persons of the highest training standards. I was impressed the true interest that each of the Challenger Sports coaches took in the development of the individual students. I was even more impressed with their interest in teaching sportsmanship and teamwork as a priority above and beyond individualism. These guys were genuinely there for the kids' long term growth as players and young citizens. Thank you, Bishop, Elliott and Andrew. It was indeed a joy having you three coach in Leesburg, Florida.

CALIFORNIA - We just finished our regions first ever camp with Challenger's British Soccer Team. What a great time we ALL had. My son could not wait to go back each and every day. What a difference you made in his attitude about soccer. He's always enjoyed soccer, now he is reved up and excited about helping the coach of his team this year. He has told me about all the drills and games the coaches taught and played and he wants to share them with his team. I can't wait until you come back next year. The fun was unrivalved, the coaches personable, pleasant, polite, and positive role models for all our kids. We had over 50 players signed up this very first year, imagine what we will have next year after all these kids tell their friends how much fun they had. Thanks again Challenger and keep up the good work! Kelly Lehman, Registrar and parent Region 294, Section 10, Kern River Valley Soccer

ARKANSAS - Our family enjoyed sharing our home with Matt Barnard. He and his partner Chris made camp a great experience for our son Ben. We really appreciated how polite, friendly and patient Matt was with our son and the other campers. We had a great week! This was our second year hosting a coach and we certainly plan to do so again. Your program is wonderful - the skills taught to the campers, the example of respect and integrity for the game, the patience with children, and the opportunity for us to meet new people. Matt is welcome back in our home anytime. We hope he has a great year at university. He ceratinly started our school year off on a positive note. Our family will miss him! Beth, Jerry, and Ben Foshee

NEW HAMPSHIRE - Thanks again for letting my son Isaiah participate in the soccer camp last week at John Stark. I am writing to tell you how absolutely terrific his coaches were. Isaiah was the youngest child, and I think the next oldest was probably 9 or 10, up to 13. Although he is athletic, it can be difficult as you know to teach such a large age range of kids. Jonathan was FABULOUS with Isaiah. He is clearly a skilled and knowledgeable instructor ( I actually thought he must be an educator by profession), and made such an effort to be sure the activities were understood and adapted to meet Isaiah's needs. He was Isaiah's biggest fan, taught him special handshakes, and praised him every day. Actually I think he was quite fond of him. I wanted you to know how terrific he was and what a valuable asset he is to the Challenger Program. I understand that he has been coming to Weare for a few years. I am hopeful that he can return next year so Isaiah can learn more from him. I think Isaiah learned more with he and Nick (and the older kids) than he did in his 4 years at *** camps (and they were good too). We would be happy to consider hosting a coach next year, if they are as kind and down to earth as Jonathan and Nick. Stephanie Lovering

MICHIGAN - Our soccer camp in Oxford, Michigan just finished. I was so impressed with our coaches, Baz, Paul and Iain. They had the kids running and practicing right away. The kids loved it. We figured out that in one weeks time, the kids had 2 plus seasons of practice. That is incredible. I was most impressed at how our coaches managed the kids. Some conflicts arose and the coaches handled offenses with great finesse and patience. They really stressed teamwork and how the smallest infraction can bring the whole team down. In the end, all the kids loved these guys. They were mobbed for hugs and autographs like celebrities. This is such a great program. We will definitely participate next year. Thanks again Baz, Paul and Iain for making this sports camp the most memorable for our son, Michael. The Dobies Family

SOUTH DAKOTA - Just wanted to let you know that we hosted 3 coaches, Natalie, Stuart, and Shaun. We had the best time at our house with them. They were outstanding coaches as well. I coach 2 teams in U-8's and U-10's and learned tons from them. They are all invited back to our house to stay for their last week in the US. One has changed their ticket to do so, we hope that the other two can. We will be visiting 2 of them when we go to England this September. I would hope that all soccer parents get British soccer camp coaches of this caliber, host them and then enjoy the relationship that you will have with them. We will be hosting again next year! Thanks, British soccer camp! John, Tamara, Ian, Ethan Reuter
Rapid City, SD

ILLINOIS - I wanted thank you for the awesome camp that was held Aug 1-5. My sons attended and Coach Andy did a wonderful job. There were 7 rowdy boys and unseasonably warm weather that Coach Andy had to manage- and he did an excellent job keeping them in line and focused on the camp (I'll bet he did not think so at the time) Jack and Sam still talk about the camp and are looking forward to a great fall soccer season. Thanks for a great program-we look forward to next year. Lori Sarocka

NEW YORK - Wow, what a week!!!! We had such a great time both attending the British Soccer Camp and hosting a coach. Alex Spencer stayed with us and was our daughters' coach as well. His coaching partner, David Costello(Elvis), pretty much lived at our house too since they only had the 5-8 p.m. shift. They hung out with us most days, swimming and playing with the kids. Thanks for sending us two great guys. We loved their accents and really enjoyed their company. In fact, we became quite attached to them and were really sad to see them go. Our girls loved the camp and looked forward to the fun activities they had planned each day(crazy hat day, sticky brownies, etc.). They learned a lot of new skills and are psyched to use them when the season starts in the fall. Thanks again for a fantastic experience, we can't wait till next year. Beth, Ed, Julia and Emily Schmidt Stony Point, NY

MICHIGAN - We just finished soccer camp in Coldwater, MI with Will, Paul and Ashleigh.
The camp was very challenging but fun for my kids. The coaches were very encouraging and enthusiastic. It built confidence in the kids. We were very fortunate to host Ashleigh in our home (camper trailer!). She was an excellent role model for our 9 yr. old daughter, Maggie and 4 yr. old son, Sam. The three coaches represented themselves, British Challenger and their country with utmost respect and dignity. Ashleigh, Will and Paul are welcome in our home anytime!!!! The Morrison Family

NORTH CAROLINA - My two children. Corey and Madison just finished the British Soccer Camp up today in Marion, North Carolina. They had a blast. There was so much energy and enthusiasm this week. Every morning was a breeze to get them going, I would just tell them, get ready for soccer camp and they would be up and ready in no time at all. Our coaches were such a pleasure to have, they both had a wonderful personality and worked wonders with the children. Mine have learned so much this week that I can't wait to see them play in the fall and use their new skills. Not only did they learn a lot but I learned a lot too while I sat there and watched. My kids and I all enjoyed coming home and working on their camp homework, we all learned new information on different countries and had a blast doing it. I would like to take this time a say a special thank you to our coaches, John Worsnop from England and John Wyllie from Scotland. You both have made this week a wonderful experience and gave my kids the opportunity to learn and advance with a sport they really enjoy and have gave them a week they will treasure for always. I hope to see you both next year. Our doors will always be open for you both to have a place to come.

NORTH CAROLINA - My name is Betsy Brothers and I am the president of the Swansboro Soccer Association here in North Carolina. I am also the coordinator for the British Soccer Camp from Challenger. Let me start off by saying that our club has had the privilege of coaches come to do a camp for the last 4 summers now and all the camps have been great! We have had wonderful coaches who did an outstanding job, but this year's group did an extraordinary job! The group of Coaches that were sent to us (Gavin, Dan, Andy, Matt and Amy) were amazing! They ran the camp with such professionalism and created a wonderful learning environment for the kids. I have already received calls and inquiries about next years camp. It is amazing how a group of coaches whom you have never met, can walk into your life and make such an impact to those in which they have contact with. They truly made a lasting impression on everyone from the host families, to the parents, to the local papers and most of all the players! I would like to take this time to also say a special thank you to my Coordinator, Ben Cook. He truly went above and beyond his duty to help me and our club have a successful camp! He is truly an assets to the British Soccer Organization and I look forward to working with him in the future. On that note, The Swansboro Soccer Association would like to Thank Ben Cook, Gavin, Dan, Andy, Matt and Amy for a wonderful experience and we hope they all come back again! Have a safe journey home and hope to see you soon. Sincerely, Betsy Brothers SSA President and Camp Coordinator

WASHINGTON - I want to write to let you know about what a wonderful experience our family had this past week hosting Leanne Kelly of Scotland in our home. This is the third year my daughter Madeleine has attended British Soccer Camp. This year our family decided to host a coach for the first time, both for the experience and because we needed the fee break that comes with hosting. We were open to the experience however, we had no idea it would be so wonderful. Leanne is a lovely and very spirited person. She came to our home on Sunday and was open to participating in whatever we had going on. She attended block parties and art openings and back yard picnics and even our son's 13 birthday party. She was not only courteous but just a lovely young women to share our home with. The best part of all was the example she set for our almost 10 year old daughter Maddie who truly adored her and is very inspired to start her soccer season this fall as a result. But that is just one way that hosting effected her. She now speaks of the big sister she never had and the possibilities of traveling and wanting to experience other cultures. Thanks so much for a wonderful opportunity. We definitely want to host again next year. If there was anyway that we could have Leanne again we would like to put in a special request for her. Sincerely, Susan Nelson Seattle, WA

MICHIGAN - I wanted thank you both for sponsoring the camp and coaches clinic. Both were awesome and I know you did a lot of work to organize these events. The folks at British Soccer were great! The girls were in awe over the trainers and I was most impressed with their entire program. The girls progressed wonderfully. I look forward to having the girls return next year and working with a first class soccer club. Ken Goolsby Storm 97 White U9GP

CALIFORNIA - Mark & Brent, I want to "thank you" for a thouroughly fun experience. It was like taking a vacation without having to leave our home !!! There is one thing I would like to you to do for me....Thank your mothers when you talk to them again, for raising such fine, fun and respectable young men. Having boys of my own, I can only hope they will grow up and enjoy life and people as much as the both of you seem too. I hope the rest of your summer leaves you with fun memories and stories to share with your family and friends back home. We would love to have the both of you back again for Tyler's camp, but if we don't get the chance to see you again, know that you are aleays welcome in our home. it was very nice meeting the two of you! Peace Denise, Santa Rosa CA.

IOWA - We just finished Soccer camp in Glenwood, IA and wanted to let you know what a positive experience it was. Three of our children participated this year and all three enjoyed themselves immensely while learning. They never complained about getting up in the morning- they were very eager to attend thanks to Tim, Ashley, Amanda, Anthony, David and Alex. I was amazed at how these coaches were able to be professional and yet were very friendly with the children and made each one feel welcome and successful. My family was a host family for Amanda and had a fabulous time with her. All of the coaches I mentioned, though, were willing to participate in many different activities in our town and were nothing but polite and gracious the entire time. We are looking forward to hosting another coach next year! Please pass this on to whomever sent these great people our way!!! Mary and Jim Finn and Lauren, Lecy, TJ, Kassie, Danni, Candace and Jack

FLORIDA - I just wanted you to know how thrilled I was with Soccer CAmp! We live in the Florida Keys- the camp was located in Islamorada the week of July 25- it was 90 degrees every day- My son Connor attened the 1/2 day camp-the two men Matt & Steve- showed up each day with smiles, courtesy, eager to teach, encouraging to the campers, and just a joy to be around! They were respectful and I felt confident that they would and did, care for my son Connor and encourage him in his game. Connor turned 6 during the camp and Matt & Steve acknowleged him and how inportant it was to Connor. I really can't say enough wonderful things about them! The led the kids in fun drills and games- Connor was excited about camp each day- and thats saying alot- especailly being in the sun, running around for 3 hours each day, I really hope they come back next year. Sincerely-Melanie O'Neill

ARKANSAS - My daughter attended soccer camp in Bryant and is ready to go back next year. I will also send my son. We had Amy stay with us and had an awesome expierence. Amy is welcome back here anytime. She had fun with the kids, great manners, and a great personality. We would like Amy to come to Arkansas every year. The rest of the guys were great too. Everyone had a great time. We look forward to next years camp. My daughter had so much fun that she didn't even realize that she was improving on her skills. Thank you for a great camp. Melissa, David, Bailey, and Myers.

MASSACHUSETTS - Hello!! My boys 4 and 6 just finished a week of 1/2 day soccer in Townsend MA with James and Lawrence. Wanted to thank them for a great week!!! Boys learned so many new skills and had a blast. I was impressed with the way the coaches cheered them on and made each one feel special. Lawrence had many 4's and 5's and not only got down to their level but learned each one of their names right away. James continuously gave the children positive feed back. A fantastic week! Thanks to all the other coaches as well they were all wonderful! I will be spreading the word for next year. --Cameron and Carson's mom

NEVADA - Hi there. Our son just attended your soccer camp in Reno, NV, and WOW! He was excited from the moment he saw the coaches and field, and we were impressed seeing how well the coaches handled all those children. The kids all came away with smiles on their faces, and were more respectful than I would have thought that many children would be. Coaches Paul, Carly, Andy, Matt and Nicky were FANTASTIC! To have that much energy and enthusiasm says something about the character of your choice in coaches. Our daughter who has never had any interest in soccer wants to go to your soccer camp next year, yay!
Thank you for a wonderful week. Sincerely, Andrea and David Catalano

UTAH - My five year old son, Grant, just completed his week long adventure with your organization and I just have to tell you what fun he had. He looked forward to camp each and every day and came home with lots of amusing stories about his day for the entire family to enjoy. He especially loved his coaches, Matt and Die. These two guys made the camp a blast for each child. They took the time to get to know their names and interact with each camper. As a former teacher I appreciated their dedication to this especially given the short time period they had. We can't wait until next summer and only hope that the camps are longer so Grant's fun won't be so short lived. Thanks so much! Jessica Flynn Draper, UT

WASHINGTON - Had to fire off a quick note to let you know what a great camp Stefan put on for the Speeders. This week concluded the fourth Speeders British Soccer Camp. All of the coaches you have sent the team have been top notch but Stefan out shined them all. This year the Speeders are a new team. Nine new players were added to the roster. Three of the players are new to soccer this year. Stefan was a miracle worker with the way he increased basic fundamentals while teaching advance soccer tactics. By Wednesday he had the team performing above the expectations I had for the entire camp. Not only did he increase each players fundamental skill level he increased the girls interest in soccer. During the Friday World Cup games the players not on the pitch were practicing there skills on the sideline (never seen this before.) More amazing Friday night after Stefan left our house my own daughter Paige was watching the Fox Soccer Channel until 12 AM. Also for the first time I would like to make a request for a coach. If Stefan comes back to the states again next year please make sure he is assigned to the Speeders camp. Thank You (Cheers) Jesse Redmon

TENNESSEE - My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the soccer camp at the AYSO 275 soccer field , Coaches Andy and Allen were awesome and the most enthusiastic talented coaches that I could have hoped for . I was very impressed with them and how they were with the kids, and the kids loved being there at the camp. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone with a child interested in soccer. My daughter had never played and by the end of the camp was starting to really catch on. I was quite impressed . Loads of thanks to those coaches and I hope they continue to enjoy what they do, they are excellent . B. Bosch

ILLINOIS - My children recently spent an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL week at your camp in Woodridge, IL. This was the third year we attended, and it just seems to get better and better all the time. Coaches Kerry and Shaun were so terrific with the kids, keeping them excited and motivated while they had an absolutely fantastic time working on their soccer skills. Their patience and enthusiasm -- especially in the 90 degree heat -- was incredible!
The way they encouraged the kids to understand the "culture" of soccer/football fans, with all the activities in and out of the camp, was terrific. We thought the World Cup format was brilliant, and loved how the kids really got into learning about the countries they were representing. We also had the opportunity to host Kerry in our home. We were really excited to be able to host a coach, but never expected to share the week with someone who would quickly become such a part of our lives. We had a terrific time showing both Kerry and Shaun our area, and getting to know them. We feel very lucky to have these lovely friends "across the pond" who we'll visit, and look forward to having them as our guests the next time they're in the States. It was such a wonderful experience for all of us, and we will jump at the chance to host a coach again next year. Thank you for another great year of British Soccer Camp. We're glad to hear our park district will continue to offer the camp next year, and we'll be there! Debbie Cohen Woodridge/Naperville, IL

CALIFORNIA - We would like to thank Mike, A.J. & Cian for doing a great job at the Lake Elsinore, CA British Soccer Camp this past week. Our 11 year old daughter, Acacia, & 5 year old son, Kole, attended the camp. Our daughter had fun learning, playing and competing in the World Cup. She got up in the morning excited about camp & was just as excited (but tired - 100 degrees!) when she left. She loved it so much that she asked to sign up for another local British Soccer Camp (Goal Keeper) in 2 weeks! She can't wait. We hope Mike, Cian &/or A.J. will be coaching that one, too. Our son loved A.J. He was great with the little ones. All three were awesome. Thanks again guys! Hope to see you soon. Remember, you're always welcome to stay at our place again. Elaine & Jason Weber

KENTUCKY - I coach a 10-11 year old soccer team for the Southwest YMCA in Louisville, KY.
and was fortunate enough to attend the Challenger coaches clinic held this past week at our YMCA and lead by Andy Grainger.
The clinic was a great learning experience and I can't wait for our season to begin so I can implement the the drills and games I was taught at the clinic.I was very impressed with our instructor. He took the time to answer all our questions and tailored the clinic to our specific needs. Several players from the team I coach (including my son), attended the entire week of camp. I heard nothing but compliments from the players and their parents about the coach and the content of this camp. I believe that Andy did a fantastic job of making the camp fun and assuring that the players learned the skills and techniques needed to improve their performance. I would highly recommend this camp and it's coach to anyone who is interested in soccer and will make sure my son attends next year. Sincerely, Todd Toles Louisville, KY

FLORIDA - My Daughter Taylor just finished camp on 8/6 with Doug and Amit and is still excited about her experience. These two gentlemen treated all the children with kindness and respect even if they didn't have a lot of understanding for the game. Their love of the sport was contagious for these children. They learned that working hard and having fun could go hand in hand. This was truly a great experience this week not only for the children but for the parents to watch their child develop though out the week. We just wanted to say thank you to Doug and Amit for all their hard work . This week was fun and exciting because of these two of them. Hope to see you both next year. Thank You, Christie & Taylor Major

ARKANSAS - My 5 year old daughter, Jordan, absolutely loved our coach, Ian. His patience with the brood of 14 4 and 5 year olds was AMAZING! The kids learned a lot, and had a blast doing so. We were very impressed by the program, and cannot wait to play again next year. Both the coaches that were at the Monticello, Arkansas camp definantly have what it takes to be sucessful in working with young children. Their songs, games, and drills were very age appropriate and the kids loved it. I feel like I can honestly say that I am surely not the only parent that took home a child speaking in a fake British accent about OOH AH BRITISH SOCCER! Keep up the good work, and send us the same coaches next year!!
We miss our coach already!! Mike, Shelley, Jordan, and Karsyn Smith

OHIO - I want to thank Toby and Adam for the awesome week at the Soccer Camp in Reynoldsburg Ohio. I have two boys; Evan is 5 and Kyle is 6. The coaches are wonderful and are so patient with the children!! I think my boys have learned more this week than in any of the 6 week long seasons!! We will be doing this again next year and hopefully be bringing some friends!!! Thanks again!! We will miss you guys!! Erin Smith Reynoldsburg, OH

NEVADA - I wanted to write you to tell you what a wonderful experience the British Soccer Camp in Reno with Brent and Chris was for my son Michael. He's very shy, and not normally outgoing, but the very first morning he couldn't wait to see the back of me to get out there with the boys and get started. We were hosts for Brent, and the whole experience was one we loved and will definitely do again. It all goes to the coaches, who put their best efforts out there, made the kids comfortable, and were charming and professional the whole week. The exercises and games, the world cup match - all of it was brilliant, and we loved it. Thank you so much for sending them out to us, and I hope we'll get to see them again. Thanks! Suellen, Bill and Michael Knopick

VIRGINIA - My Two Kids( 7 & 9) just finished The British Soccer Camp. This was our first year and I just had to email to say how impressed I was with the program! The Coaches Dean Wheeler and Gus were AMAZING! They were So good with the Kids! My Kids were so excited to go back every day even though we have been having record high temperatures they didn't mind and even asked if they could go the full day program next summer! They loved all the fun games & drills and especially all the fun songs, I've never seen them have so much fun! Gus & Dean really made the week fun for the kids and I feel like my Kids really learned alot about the game of soccer but also how to be a team player and just a good person. My Kids were really sad to say Good-bye and would LOVE to see Gus and Dean back next Summer . Please Thank Them again for us, Tell really touched my kids hearts and for that I am very grateful! Thank You so much for coming to Virginia! We hope to see Gus & Dean in 2006. PLEASE SEND THEM BACK ! Thank You! Shannon Tyler

ILLINOIS - What a fantastic experience! My daughter's introduction to soccer was your camp, and what a fun and dynamic way to enter a great sport! I was very much impressed by the coaches and their great patience, knowledge, and ability to make 90+ degree heat fun to be in. We'll be back next year with our other daughter as well, and even more film to capture the fun and crazy week. Congrats on a brilliant program! REBECCA DIAZ

NEW MEXICO - My Son, Cale, just completed the mini soccer camp. He absolutely loved it and talked about it all week! Macey was AWESOME with the kid's. Cale has only played soccer for the Spring session and he is really in love with the game now. This camp taught him motivation and RESPECT! He's only 5 now so I'm sure he will attend many more of these. I will highly reccomend this camp to all. Thanks again to Macey and Challenger Sports! Britni Sherwood, Clovis, NM

MARYLAND - My son participated in an indoor soccer camp run be Paul Davis and Jimmy at the Sportsplex in Frederick, Maryland. My son is 8 and he had a super great time. These guys were super with the kids they really got the group into it and the World Cup games were super. Thank you to those guys for all their help. He is now at Carroll Manor Elementary with Leighton, Mat and Tom and they are super great too. Thank you to all, also Andy at the Sportsplex who coached my older son who also had a fantastic week.
Thank you, Cheryl McDonnell,

TEXAS - I just wanted to write and let you know that my daughter Emmi had way too much fun at the Lake Jackson camp. All of the coaches were so great and challenged the kids without scaring them, they did it with humor and rewards. She learnedmso much and looked forward to both sessions everyday. She was so sad on the last day, she didn't want the guys to leave. She will definitely do this camp again next year. I would like to thank all the coaches for being so great and making the week fun. It took a while but I think she has quit speaking with the British accent, but she still demands her REEESPECT! Thanks again guys, and hope to see you next summer. Lori Tate

NORTH CAROLINA - My son participated in the British Soccer Camp last week in Roanoke Rapids, NC, and it was such a wonderful experience. I worked for several years at the Department of Athletics at UNC-Chapel Hill as the Executive Asst. to John Swofford and Dick Baddour. During my time, there I never met a student-athlete with the professionalism and composure as these three British Soccer Coaches (Gavin, Andy and Steve). What is the difference???? Is it how they are raised? Is it a level of maturity? Andy was the coach for the "First Kicks" group. He was very, very patient and adaptable with the 3 & 4 year olds. Thank you so much for your time, Susan Warren

NORTH CAROLINA - Hello! We were a host family last week for our hometown's soccer camp, and I just wanted to let you know that it was such a great experience!! The young men were so wonderful with the kids and such a pleasure to have stay with us! We definitely want to host again next year!! Lana Horn Roanoke Rapids, NC

CALIFORNIA - Just wanted to say...My son just completed the camp in Pleasant Hill....Coach Chris was Awesome. Jake never stopped talking about what he was doing. And even though he only had a week.....Coach Chris made a big impression. We would definately be interested in hosting a coach next year. Sincerely Jessica Freels

CALIFORNIA - My 7-year old son Wendall attended a camp in Laguna Creek/Elk Grove, California and then two weeks later attended one in Sequim, Washington. The caliber of coaches as well as their professionalism, winning personalities, and ability to work with children stood out at both camps. My son loved both camps - he learned a lot and had tons of fun. He'll definately be attending one of your camps next year. Thanks! for providing these camps for our children. Sincerely, Susan Lorenzen

MICHIGAN - My two sons just finished your camp in Coldwater, MI. I have never seen them so excited as they were to go everyday. Ashleigh, Will, and Paul were fabulous! The boys learned so much and tell everybody what they learned. They are so excited to start the soccer season so they can use their skills. Thank you for making their week of soccer camp, something that will be with them for a long time to come. Wendy Smith

MICHIGAN - Thanks to Coach Luke for training our U9 Boys Hartland Panthers Soccer Team. He did a fantastic job working with the boys all day long. Our team will be putting their skills to the test this weekend in their first soccer tournament together. We have noticed that after spending a week with Coach Luke their overall soccer skills have definitely improved. We look forward to seeing the Challenger Coaches again next year.

ILLINOIS - My two children have just finished participating in a Soccer Camp in Peru, Illinois. (7/25-7/29) I want to tell Challenger Sports that both of my children learned a lot and truly enjoyed it. Our family was fortunate that we were able to host one of the coaches----which means that we got to know all four of them: Andrew Parry, Gavin McCrindle, Daniel Harcock and Jamie Devine. These four young men were amazing with every child and their enthusiasm was beaming in their teaching. I did not see every practice but what I did see I was impressed with in how they handled themselves with every age group. They were "top-notch." Please let them know that not only our family but many others were very pleased with their performance.

INDIANA - We just recently finished up with a week of fun and learning soccer skills. This years soccer camp, was the best yet and it just seemed all the coaching staff were fantastic. Each one of them seemed to bond with the kids and hold their attention from the youngest to the oldest. The kids just had a blast, especially the antics of coaches; Fiona & Adam.Fiona just seemed to have so much energy and a way of controlling the kids. My daughter seemed to have found a good friend and bonded with her, was sad to see her leave. My daughter is looking forward to next years camp. Great job Challenger and coaching team. Amy & Ray Gasiorowski.

WASHINGTON - I’m sure you have no clue who I am, but my family and I just hosted the nicest four coaches and we were wondering if you’d please send them back for the camp in August. If you could, we would be thrilled to have the four of them again. They were Suzanne MacTaggert, Gary Wambeek, Rich Westoby and Matt Vickers. You can be very proud of all four of them. They were perfect houseguests; respectful, courteous and kind. They were wonderful to our children and a genuine joy to have in our home – we would very much appreciate the opportunity to host them again. Any influence you could exert towards that end would be most sincerely appreciated. This is our second year as a host family and we have had genuinely exceptional experiences both times. Your program is terrific and we very much enjoy playing a part. The Walker Family (Jill, Andy, Alex and Nick)

WASHINGTON - I just wanted to send a quick note regarding two of the coaches that stayed with us on Mercer Island. I am aware that Ross was highly thought of by many of the parents including myself. He always had a funny one liner at the start of camp and then in a nice
and thoughtful manner coached all day. Also, Nick was superb. They are both great coaches and house guests. I am biased since they stayed with me, but I did have an opportunity to meet the rest of the coaches off the field and Ross and Nick really stand out. I think Nick was the most kind, level headed, mature and engaged of the group. Hopefully we will see Ross again in August. Sincerely, Jodi King

OHIO - My four year old son Nathan attended his first soccer camp in Xenia, Ohio in July of this year. Coach Tony has the patience of a saint. The way he instructed the class was educational and fun. He even took time out to listen to my sons bug story...he is only four. I can't wait until next years camp because Nathan says coach Tony is his best friend. Thank you to everyone involved. Jaime Mashburn

IOWA - During the week of July 11-15 we had the pleasure of having David Phillips and Jamie Leeper run a Challenger Soccer Camp for our soccer club. These two guys were wonderful with the kids and did a great job. Our kids learned a lot and had a great time. I know that the coaches don't usually return to the same camps each year, but it would be great to have them back again if they wanted to come to Iowa Falls. We were able to spend extra time with them Friday evening as they came to a little get together we had for one of our spring soccer teams to give them their awards. The parents in attendance enjoyed getting to know both guys better. Thank You

TEXAS - Hi. Two of my kids were on a FFPS-hosted British Soccer camp in Katy (just outside Houston), Texas last week. I just wanted to let you know that the kids loved it, the parents loved it, and it seemed that the coaches (Andy, Craig and Dan) had a blast too. I’m an ex-pat Brit so it was great to hear some English accents! My 13 year old had NEVER played soccer before but she loved it and wants to start playing in a league in the Autumn. So full marks to the coaches and we hope to see them back here next year. Next year I’ll have all three of my kids signed up for British Soccer!

MICHIGAN - Just wanted to take a minute and thank your coaches so much for the excellent job they did with all the children just last week in Hartland, Michigan. I never got the chance to go up to them and thank them because of the warm receptions they were all receiving from both the kids saying goodbye and thank you, and the parents as well. They were bombbarded like rock stars when it was time to go. Fantastic group you had there; my kids, Maveric and Jerzy absolutely loved there coaches. Coach Sarah with her poor arm in a sling; she's awesome, very firm, yet very loving towards the kids, I really liked her a lot. And then there was Coach Marcus and Coach Neil for the mini's; they were so nice and patient with the little ones, it's great to see the guys especially working with the little kids. You could tell the kids adored them. Soccer will definitely be in both my childrens future and because of the wonderful job you all did, and how friendly you all were. We'll see you next year for sure. Thank you all so very much. Paula Muscat

CALIFORNIA - This was my sons first of many years in your camp. It was serious, it was fun, and it was educational. "Respect!" Thank you for spending the week re-enforcing what I feel, is such a rare quality in our children's upbringing. It took all of maybe 2 minutes on the first day to see that these coaches would receive nothing less from these kids. It was brilliant! Matt...You are an asset to this group. My son still repeats the words you spoke, and the philosophy you enforced. He is more aware of his own self and his responsibility to ones self. He wants to eat better, so he can run faster, and kick harder. Thank you!!!

INDIANA - My family hosted one of the four coaches that were putting on camp this past week in Ferdinand Indiana. Marc was great. We had so much fun while he was here. Ben, Paul and Paul were also great. They really connected with kids. Since I am 15 I could not participate in this camp, but it was really cool that the four guys (especially Marc) Showed me lots of moves. THe whole town of Ferdinand and the surround towns that participated in this camp would love to have all four of these guys back next year and many more years in the future. It was great. Cheers to the four lads (as they say in England) Ashlee

MICHIGAN - I just wanted to share my thoughts on our first British Soccer Camp. My daughter was a little apprehensive at first, but became very comfortable very quickly. Thanks to such fun, energetic coaches like Sarah our daughter loved each of her five days at camp. As a parent, I was impressed with the amount of time given to teach character traits such as respect and responsibility, a vital part to any sport. We will definetely be back next year! Cindi Hartmann

MICHIGAN - Hey- I just wanted to tell you three that my experience at the British Challenger camp here with you guys was one that I'll never forget. Paul- even though I was with a bunch of little kids in your group I still had a great time and benefited from the 6 hours in your group. Good luck at your PE profession- I think you'll be a great teacher! And I hope your foot gets better soon. Will- I learned so much from your group! You were a really great coach and I loved having you as one! Thanks so much and have fun on your travels! Ashleigh- (did I spell it right?) Well you weren't really my coach at any time but when our groups were together you seemed to be a really great and fun coach. Thanks so much again to all of you! Out of all my soccer experiences, this was defiantly my most worthwhile and I once again will never forget it. Cheers! Marie-Catherine

TEXAS - I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful camp experience my son had.
He is only three and this was his first experience with sports. Coach Craig was excellent! Despite being alone, Craig conducted an organized and fun camp experience for the kids. He was responsible and able to adjust to the situation. I really commend him and this program for their professionalism balanced with personality and fun. My older two children said they wished they were playing when they watched. Hopefully next year! I can't compliment Coach Craig enough, he is a real asset to Challenger Sports. Sincerely, Carin Erickson College Station, Texas

ILLINOIS - Thank you so much for holding a British Soccer Camp in Belvidere. Coaches Ian, Kerry and Shaun were superb. They balanced perfectly their youthful exuberance with professionalism and leadership. Coach Kerry has the patience of a saint and motivated my daughter to rise to the challenges of soccer. Challenger Sports is fortunate to be represented by these excellent coaches. Congratulations and best of luck. Kristine Vittore Belvidere, Illinois

ILLINOIS - Hello, my son attended soccer camp in Bloomington, Illinois. He had a blast. His coach Miss Fiona was great with the kids and made camp alot of fun for them. She is very creative and we hope you come back here again next year. He has been telling everyone about his experiences at camp. His favorite thing to do was play Mr wof but instead of running from the wolf my son would run to the wolf and say catch me catch me. Thanks again for showing the kids how to play a fun sport and also showing them how to play as a team. Thank you Jennifer Cazee

INDIANA - Hey there. We were just wanting to let you know the camp is great! Our six year old in having a blast! Even with two days of 95 degree heat and one day of mostly rain showers, he loves it. The coaches, Ben and Tim (I think), are so good with the kids. They care and each one and are very entertaining. We are so impressed with the energy of the camp. Our son has learned so much from them. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!
a parent of a happy british soccer camper, Mary

MASSACHUSETTS - Just wanted to send a note to tell you how great the soccer camp was last week. Both my children (Ben and Erica) had a ball (no pun intended!) and thoroughtly enjoyed themselves. The weather cooperated; the field got mowed; the coaches were excellent and the program did a good job of balancing the requirements of a diverse range of ages and talents among the kids. They encouraged the older kids to help the younger ones and encouraged the younger ones to emulate the older ones... everyone got to feel special! If you are sending feedback to Challenger Sports, the coaches were: Chris Butler, Neil Comerford, Clive Cook, Tom Evans. We hosted two of the coaches (Neil Comerford and Clive Cook) at our home for the week and found them to be exceptional guys. They could not have been more polite and accomodating; they played endlessly with the kids after camp, even when I know they would like to have just crashed and rested! They seemed to take a genuine interest in our family, our town and in learning about how different (and similar) things are between here and home. The kids became quite attached to them and there were many tears when they left on Saturday. Altogether a wonderful experience for all of us. In fact, if Neil and/or Clive return for the August camp, we would be happy to host them again. Best Regards, Lee Fasoli

Kristine Vittore Belvidere, IL

IOWA - My son just completed a week of soccer camp with Coach Ashley and had a WONDERFUL time. He was excellent, excellent, excellent with the kids -- he made them work very hard and just as important -- they had sooo much fun. My son's improvement in just one short week amazed me. He's 6 years old and already says he can't wait to go back to camp next year and he wants the same coach! He can't stop talking about it. Thank You for such a positive experience! We will definately be back next year. Jill Swim

ALASKA - Your camps put the "fun" back into soccer. Coaches Rich, Ynyr, Mike and Mark are fantastic. Great coaches, Great with the kids. Joe Dinneen Anchorage, Alaska
Ps. Send them back to Alaska next year!

MASSACHUSETTS - My family would like for you to know what great coaches you employ. This was Brendan's third year with Challenger . Danielle, DJ, and Nathan at the Westfield, Ma camp were the highest quality yet and highly motivated my two sons. Thanks and we will see you again next year. Michael J. Allard

MICHIGAN - We just wanted to send a note to thank you for our recent soccer camp experience with the wonderful coach that we hosted this week. We had the opportunity to host Simon Ambrose. He was by far an excellent representative for your company, a perfect gentleman to host and a pleasure for our family to get to know. We hope that we will have the opportunity to do this again in the near future and really had an excellent experience with Challenger sports. I believe that the learning experience was more than we could have ever asked for. The kids came home from camp not only excited, but tired! Overall, our experience was above and beyond anything we could have ever asked for, or expected for the week. I understand that Simon is hoping to obtain a full time position with Challenger Sports. I just want you to know that as a sales representative for the company he would be able to do a fine job. His communicative and people skills are everything you could hope for to represent your company. If he needed a personal reference I would give him one without any hesitation. We were also able to spend time with one of your other coaches ,Gareth Tye. He also was so pleasant with our kids and family. Both or either would be welcome in our home any time. Thank you again for this excellent experience for our family! Keep up the good work.Sincerely, Peggy Curran

MARYLAND - We had a fantastic week. My son (Spencer Smallwood) was part of the mini-camp. Although he is turning 6 in the fall, he was in the mini-camp since he hadn't played soccer before. He learned a lot and had fun doing it. It's difficult to teach young children how to play organized sports but the coaches did a terrific job. They were supportive, fun and knowledgable. Spencer really liked both of them and I won't hesitate signing him up for British Soccer Camp next summer- if he wants. Thank you for follwoing up with everyone who attended the camps. That really shows that you believe in this program. Thanks,
Jennifer Smallwood

LOUISIANA - Hi, Just wanted to let everyone know that Coach Carl and Coach Chris did a great job at our recent camp. Through high heat and South Louisiana weather the guys did a wonderful job with the kids. They kept the kids going and having fun all week. The coach's were easy to get along with and very polite. Also, I would like to thank the coach's for taking the extra time they put forth in putting on a coaches clinic. Good luck to you guys. Hope you guys get to come back for a visit.

KANSAS - I just wanted to take the time to say what a first rate gentleman Ben Loney is. Even though my children were not attending the camp, we had the opportunity to host Ben. We had hosted Ben earlier in the year and my family was more than happy to host him again. Ben is a great coach and it was a pleasure to have him be a part of our family again. My family will be happy to host again. We have made a good friend in Ben and will continue to stay in touch. Thanks again for the quality camp and quality individuals Challenger provides. Scott Sparks

COLORADO - My daughter just completed the British Challenger camp in Colorado Springs this week. She absolutely loved and we will definitely be doing this again next year. I would like to be put on your list to sponsor a coach in my home the next time your camp comes to town. Thank you for putting on a wonderful camp and we look forward to seeing you in town next year. Jane, Colorado Springs

TEXAS - My son Ronan has just attended one of you camps held in Lake Jackson, Texas I would like to thank all the coaches. Andy (Sizzlur) Andy, Joe, Joel, Rob, Fordy and Rossi.for making it a week of fun for not only my son, but for all the other children that participated. My son's skill levels increased dramatically from the Monday to the Friday. It was good to see him having fun with the coaches and most of all see the smile on his face at the end of the day and his eagerness to get up the next morning to do it all over again. The coaches also gave the kids a sense of achievement and encouraged them to do better, they also got the parents involved instead of them just being on-lookers. What a great bunch of coaches they were and are a credit to your organization. Thank them all on behalf of my son Ronan

WASHINGTON - My family and I just hosted the nicest four coaches and we were wondering if you’d please send them back for the camp in August. If you could, we would be thrilled to have the four of them again. They were Suzanne MacTaggert, Gary Wambeek, Rich Westoby and Matt Vickers. You can be very proud of all four of them. Your program is terrific and we very much enjoy playing a part. Please let us know at your earliest convenience so that we can plan accordingly. Again, thank you for all you do and have a wonderful day. The Walker Family

CALIFORNIA - My name is Alexia and I'm 13 years old. Challenger British Soccer Camp was amazing. It was the week of July 18-22, 2005 at the Tustin Sports Park in California. My talented coaches were Mike, Barry Pappin, and David Mackay. They have very funny personalities. I learned such amazing skills from these three coaches. Coach Barry taught me that quick feet, side stepping, shielding the ball, having controlled and powerful passes, playing fun games, and having great dribbling skills are all important factors in soccer. I have used all these skills in soccer games and it has made me a stronger and happier player! Coach David taught me that the game of soccer includes control and self discipline. Also, you always need quick reactions to when the ball hits the ground. Coach Mike taught me the coolest ball tricks that are easy, fun, and work well. From taking this camp, with these three entertaining coaches, I love soccer so much more! This camp has been funny and full of laughs. Especially the coach's challenges and many games. I am going to miss the coaches so much! Some fun memories were made at soccer camp. I can't wait till next summer and I hope you'll do more camps in Tustin. I wish my three coaches Barry, Mike, and David will do the same camp with me in Tustin, California next summer! - Alexia from Tustin, California

NEVADA - We have sadly sent on their way the two coaches that you gladly sent us: Paul Hough and Carly Davies. These folks were amazing and deserve whatever bonuses and kudos they can attain in your organization. I hosted Carly who was a shy girl until her cleats hit the soccer field. At that moment, she became an animated, fun-loving, teacher and mentor. Paul took a large group of small children and successfully nudged and nurtured this diverse (and inherently uncooperative) group using fun, frolick, and a big-brother approach that had the kids engaged from the word "go". It was fantastic to watch. While the kids challenged both coaches, the coaches were so well-mannered that they were successful in encouraging our kids to try harder, figure out on their own what they were doing wrong, and to give 110% effort--despite it being a heat wave of over 100 degrees at high altitude. I must commend them for their professionalism. As host, I tried to show them a little of the "wild" west and make them feel welcome. However, I was not alone. Other families were so impressed by these two that they were spontaneously volunteering to support and entertain them--this got the two of them onto a private beach on the shores of Lake Tahoe--something most locals envy. From way up here in the Sierra's... our heartfelt thanks...Karen (Niki), Maria (Jacob/Emma), and Gail (Ryland). Challenger Sports-- feel free to send them back anytime! Cheers!

WASHINGTON - Hi, I just had camp in White Salmon Washington, and I just wanted to say that it was the best part of my summer so far. I had a blast. All the coaches were totally awsome, and I just wanted to say thanks. Casey

NORTH CAROLINA - My grandkids just finished a British Soccer Camp at the Arcadia Booster Club fields, Davidson county, North Carolina. The kids had a great time and I'm sure learned a lot. The coaches, Matt Regan and Laura (I forgot her last name, sorry), were just wonderful. They made the camp so much fun for the kids and showed such great spirit. They were so knowledgeable and their teaching techniques were so clever. My son and his family hosted Matt and we all enjoyed having him. He's such a nice young fellow, very polite and cheerful, even though he fought with back problems all week. It was such a pleasure having him. The kids have become very attached to him and we will all miss him. Take care,
Grandma Dee

TEXAS - What a great camp in Lake Jackson, Texas. The coaches were great, especially Coach Ross dealing with the 5-7 yr. olds. Sometimes they can be a handful, and he was up to the challenge. My daughter had a great camp, and learned so much. Getting the parents involved with the cheers was awesome. My wife and I may have had more fun than my daughter. We will be back next year for sure. Thanks to the whole coaching crew. REEEESPECT. The Timmins Family

CALIFORNIA - would like to congratulate challenger sports on employing such a high caliber of coaches, my children were recently attending a camp at valley center southern California and the two outstanding coaches on camp were coach jon and coach steve. Their abilities with the children were awesome. ive never seen two people so dedicated and well suited to a difficult job, entertaining children of such a wide age range. my children would come home from camp at lunch time and not stop speaking about the fun they had until the following day when the process would start over again. Apart from their ability to entertain and coach the children their talent with a soccer ball was just incredible my children have been trying to imitate them since they have left, the only word I can use to describe the camp was magic and jon and steve were true wizards, please send them back as soon as possible as they are a great asset to your company. Keep up the good work

ALABAMA - My family hosted Shaun Creasy during the Challenger Soccer Camp last week in Daphne, AL. Shaun was the absolute perfect house guest - he was easy going, friendly, good with my children, Jessica and Dustin, and was a pleasure to have with us. This was our first experience hosting a coach, and we were blessed to have a guest like Shaun. We are looking forward to doing it again next year & hopefully we'll host a coach as personable and polite as Shaun (maybe even Shaun, himself). As for the Challenger Camp, Shaun and the other coaches (James Anderson, Chris Hodgeson, and Karl Spratt) did a fantastic job! They were well organized and worked very well together, as well as with the children. The children were nonstop from the time they showed up to camp until they left which was great because it leaves little time for discipline problems and the children were never out of the coaches control. I admire these young men and compliment them on a job well done!!! The overall experience was very positive for my family, as I hope it was for Shaun. We look forward to doing it again next year!! Sincerely, Brenda Watts

CALIFONIA - Wildomar Soccer Camp the week of July 11-15th was the best experience that my kids have ever had. We want to thank Coach AJ, Coach Cian, and Coach Mike. These men were great inspriation and help through out the week. We can't stop talking about the great time we had. Thanks for the awsome memories, Kingsley,Patricio, Madison, and "MOM".

CALIFORNIA -My children had such an incredible experience during the week they participated in the British Soccer Camp. It amazes me to know that for as hard as they worked (in 106 degrees of summer heat), they had more fun than anything. In fact, they enjoyed the camp so much that they all want to participate in next weeks camp! It's obvious to me that each of their coaches were completely admired. The level of professionalism the coaches demonstrated was balanced by their sense of playfulness, both of which can not be ignored. Mike , AJ, and Cian have impressive talents. I absolutely loved the idea that woven throughout each drill was a lesson in respect, responsibility, leadership, integrity, sportsmanship, and confidence. In addition to their soccer skills, each of them have friendly personalities that make taking to them very natural. I can not fairly put into words the impact of such an opportunity, but I can tell you that not a single child, or parent for that matter, left disappointed. We are grateful for the experience. Catherine

NEW HAMPSHIRE - Once again Pelham Soccer Camp was an outstanding camp! The Coaches were fabulous, they were very receptive to each of the campers individual strengths and areas to develop on. All of the campers seemed to enjoy themselves and the parents were quite pleased with the soccer camp as well. This was the third summer that our children were attendees at a Challenger camp, and at the close of camp every year they are always sad its over, but the are excited for the next year to arrive. Thank You for once again providing a fabulous experience for the children to not only develop their current skills, but also learn new techniques to enhance their playing level.

MARYLAND - Thanks to all the coaches, Jimmy, Paul, Sean and Chris for making my daughter's soccer experience such a fun and rewarding event. Each and everyone of you always seemed to go out of your way to make sure the kids had loads of fun whilst learning the art of playing soccer. Being a Brit myself I felt proud everyday to see you guys at work. Each and everyone of you seemed so mature and really sensitive to the kids' needs, that being no small feat in 90 plus degree heat. It always surprised me how energetic the kids were at the end of the camp despite running in intense heat for 3 hours. I guess that's because they were all having so much fun, a side effect of your commitment, responsibilty and energy to ensure the kids had the best experience possible. Watching you all dress up in wacky clothes that the kids bought in will be the talk of the town for a while to come. Congratulations for a job well done. Clearly the interview process in selecting these fine young men is a merit to the Challenge Sports Organisation. Can't wait for sign up day for Summer 2006. Jane Onslow, Ellicott City

ARIZONA - I would like to thank Challenger Sports for providing the children here in Arizona with such a great experience! The camp gave the children an opportunity to really increase their soccer knowledge and skills. With all of the learning going on, Jonathan Blackford, the young man directing, made sure that the children were constantly entertained. Not only was he fun and enthusiastic, but also knowledgeable, organized, and caring for the children. I was very impressed with the camp as a whole and felt that this was a wonderful experience for everyone involved. Thank you, again!

CONNECTICUT - I just would like to say thank you to Challenger Sports and to coaches Tristan Lewis and Andy. I found the camp by accident when I went on to find out how to sign my sun up for soccer. My soon to be step daughter and my son both wanted to join the camp and so I signed them both up. I had expected a learning experiance for both of them and they were both very excited but the experiance was not at all what we expected. In fact it exceeded our expectations. Both coaches were full of smiles and laughter for the kids and made the learning so much fun. I found the kids coming home every night and preparing flags and brownies and what not that had been assigned to them and doing so with anticipation of going back the next day. When they were thru with the camp the whole family was disappointed that there would be no camp. Coach Tristan and Andy were fabulous and I would highly recommend this camp to ANYONE!!! I am so glad that Challenger Sports is there and hope that we can have a camp in New Milford next year. My daughter, who did not want to do the camp, want desperately to be a part of the fun next year. We would love to see Coaches Tristan and Andy back. They were fabulous. Thanks, Judy Netherland

OKLAHOMA - Mollie, Just wanted to thank you for all your hard work. Also, wanted to send some feedback on coach Rick Wilkinson. He was awesome. The kids loved him, and he was by far the most enegetic of all the coaches we've ever had (only had camp here for two years, but my children have attended for 5 or 6 years.) When I first met him, I thought he was awfully young looking, and wondered how he would do, but he is a very mature young man and is obviously gifted at coaching. He was incredibly patient with the young ones in our mini-camp (and you can ask him, they were very trying!) Thanks again. Ya'll always do a great job!

SOUTH DAKOTA - I wanted to drop you a note about the camp held here last week. We had the largest turn out of any year that I have been coordinating. There were 33 children that attended camp. The paper came out and interview the coaches, kids and a couple local soccer board members for an article. The article was very well done and hopefully will benefit us in the next few years to come. We signed up for a three year contract extension. The coaches, Danny Horobin and Anthony Dodds, were great. Your company does a fantastic job finding good people. I wish we could have had them here all summer. The association would like more information on hiring a coach for an extended stay to work with the kids. Danny and Anthony mentioned that was a possibility. The association purchased a couple of the DVDs. I have to say they are very good. My kids and I previewed one the other night and they were practicing turns in front of the TV. Thanks for all you help. Mark Bullington Brookings Soccer Association

GEORGIA - Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for another great year with Challenger Sports. Our 2nd annual British Soccer Camp was a huge success and the kids, parents and Club staff are once again raving about the "British Invasion" at Woodmont Golf and Country Club. I have heard nothing but incredible compliments about the organization of the camp and the caliber of the coaches. We were thrilled to have Neil back as Camp Director, as he is always so organized, efficient and fun - we absolutely adore him! Lawrence and Nathan were also top-notch with our "ankle biters" this year - as you know, we have a large group of little ones each summer. The guys couldn't have done a better job and we were once again impressed with how wonderful they were throughout the week of camp. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Challenger Sports. You are all tremendous! It is always a pleasure working with you - we truly appreciate everything you and your staff do on a daily basis to make our camps so successful. Elaine D. Smith Club Social Director, Woodmont Golf and Country Club

CALIFORNIA - I just wanted to write a quick comment in regards to the soccer camp that was recently held in southern California. The camp was directed by a Jonathan Blackford and I would like to share my thoughts on what an excellent director he was for the kids. He obviously has an extensive amount of knowledge about soccer, as did Steve Harrod, one of the great coaches. Not only were their soccer skills very exceptional, but they also were wonderful with the children. Jon and Steven were very enthusiastic, and this kept all of the children constantly interested and excited for camp. I was quite impressed with their ability to make this such an great experience for everyone involved. Not only did the children learn about soccer, but also about respect, responsibly, integrity, leadership, and sportsmanship. It was a pleasure to meet such great people, keep up the great work!

MARYLAND - We are hosting Paul Lewis this week and enjoying every moment of it! He is such a doll! He is polite, easy-going, thoughtful, conversational, mature, terrific with the kids...he is simply delightful. I told my husband, "I want to keep him!" And, that's just as a house guest. As a coach he's doing an outstanding job. My two boys are loving the camp and they are absolutely 'eating up' their 'homework assignments'. The homework assignments are a creative way to keep them involved and thinking about the camp when they're not physically present. Plus, it's summertime. They have absolutely nothing else to do. Why not spend their time creatively? My boys get in the vehicle when camp is over for the day excited to tell me everything they did. All the way home they're speaking in tandem about the day's activities and projects for the evening. We've been to Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, the beach, and had tennis and swim lessons this summer...so far, this camp tops all of that. It holds their attention and keeps them excited all day long. That's saying a lot for two little boys. This afternoon Paul was going to our neighborhood pool with us and he told them to go get their swim trunks on quickly...and, they raced to do it as if the house was on fire! They don't move that quickly for me, so, if it's all the same to you, I'd like to keep him. If all of the guys you recruit, interview, and hire are this great, you must love your work. Thank you for sending us Paul. Best Regards, Jana Davis

CALIFORNIA - My son Ryan Schackel attended a Challenger Mini-Soccer Camp in Redwood City,California during the week of June 20th. The Camp was held at Sandpiper Community Center. I just wanted to let you know that you have a FABULOUS teacher named Gary Hood. Gary was extremely patient and supportive to these very young children and kept things very fun, exciting and engaging for the short attention spans that children at this age possess. This was my son's first real exposure to sports, particularly team sports, and I am thrilled that wehad such a wonderful experience with Garry and Challenger. I have spoken to many friends about this wonderful experience.I'm just disappointed that there is only one more camp week in our neighborhood, which unfortunately we cannot attend. I've even checked other relatively nearby locations but unfortunately the only options are the 2 weeks that we are away on our annual vacation. Regardless, I just wanted you to know how pleased and impressed we were with Gary and that he is a credit to your organization. Many thanks, Anne Marie Schackel

FLORIDA Challenger coach, T.J., introduced my six-year-old granddaughter Olivia to soccer at South Walton High School, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Beyond learning concrete skills for playing the game of soccer, she learned listening and focus skills and accepting responsibility for her unsuccessful plays and how to play fair. I appreciate the three coaches'---John from Scotland, Leigh-Anne from London, and T.J. from London---instruction in the philosophy of the BCS program: assisting children to choose positive values for their lives and respect for other people as they play the game of soccer. The larger issues about life that the coaches' introduced can promote effective psychological development well beyond the soccer field. In addition, talking about healthy foods and those that do not promote good health actively engaged the children in quality thinking about what they eat and drink and make some healthy decisions about food. The BCS Soccer Camp coaches were professional, caring, witty, skilled players of the game, and always maintained a sense of humor. I hope the BCS Camp will return here next summer so that Olivia can participate again. Respectfully yours, Sylvia Alf

OHIO - Chris, Steve, Sandy, and Gaz were wonderful with the children! They incorporated their love of soccer with fun games and assignments dosed with a lot of enthusiasm. The kids learned information about other countries and readily participated in the "homework" that contributed to the team. On the field, the coaches positively structured drills and games so that the kids continued to have fun while they learned and improved their soccer skills. My son is already asking to sign up for next year's camp! Thanks for a great week.
Shawn Van Dyke

MARYLAND - I wanted to send you a quick note to let you know how much my son Matthew Farr enjoyed your camp (June 20-24 in Bethesda, Maryland). His coach Matt (from York; didn't catch the last name) was terrific. Knowledgeable, energetic, fun and properly firm with a group that was very diverse in ages and skill levels. The atmosphere was always positive and constructive. My son was if not THE youngest and smallest certainly one of the youngest and smallest in the group at 6 and yet he always felt included and encouraged. As his "bribe" for the coach, my son made a card and wrote that Matt was the best soccer coach he had ever had, and having seen them all, I think he is right. (His comments about my son during the awards ceremony, including his playful observation that my son's "only downfall was that he was a Chelsea fan" were marvelous). Please pass along my feedback to "Coach Matt" and accept my thanks for a wonderful program. Regards, Alec W. Farr

TEXAS - We just finished our camp last week here in Katy and despite the rain overall it went great!! My daughter Emily has participated in British Challenger Soccer Camp 3 years in a row now and she just absolutely loves it!! This year she got her other team mates on her Texas Premier team to attend and those girls absolutely loved it as well!! Even their parents has expressed to me how impressed they were about the camp. You can be sure they will all sign up again next summer!! As usual you send us the best coaches..Stuart, Monty, Andy S., Rich, Mace, and Andy M. The best camp director ever is Stuart!!! We want him back again next summer!! This camp was a success because of him. Monty, Rich and Mace made soccer fun for the kids!! This is Andy S. 3rd year in Katy and the kids and parents always look forward to seeing him again every year!! Andy Martin was awesome with the kids as well and he demonstrated outstanding soccer skills on the field that totally amazed all the kids and parents!! Over all this week was filled with excellent soccer skills training, fun soccer games and scrimmages!!! British Challenger Soccer Camp is a wonderful camp for all children of all ages and skill levels..I encourage everyone to up sign up their kids next summer and experience what everyone is raving about!!! Maria

CALIFORNIA - Just wanted to tell you that we thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Matt and Kevin. They are excellent coaches, great representatives for your organization and England. We hesitated to host this year, but after this year's experience will most definitely be willing hosts next year. Thanks for bringing the soccer camp to our area. MaryAnn & Greg Uecker

TEXAS - My daughter and nephew attended the British Soccer Camp in Denton this past week. I want to tell you what a tremendous experience it was for them both. My daughter, Caitlyn, is on a U8 soccer team, and attending the camp with some of her Denton teammates was a very motivating, exciting time for her and her friends. Not knowing what to expect, I was particularly pleased with the wonderful demeanor and motivational skills of the coaches. Every one of them, in particular coaches Laura, Ben and Collin, were absolutely terrific with the kids. They were fun, funny, skilled, and perceptive, keeping on top of the kids in their groups and motivating them regardless of their skill, size, or attitude. They found a way to get everyone involved in every facet of the drills and games. All the kids, from the youngest to the teens, had smiles on their faces despite working very hard all week. My daughter asked for help improving her skills, and I can't imagine a better place to have this happen. We also attended their exhibition game with some local players, and they certainly practice what they preach. Their skills were clear, and the kids watching this game were impressed and convinced that they were learning from the best. Have a good summer, and again, thank you for a terrific camp. Sincerely, Paul Mignini

MICHIGAN - My three sons just finished up a week of camp in Wixom, MI. I can't tell you enough how much they enjoyed it. Coach Matt and Coach Paul were just wonderful with the kids. My kids actually wanted to go to bed early so that they wouldn't be tired in the morning and they always wanted to be the first ones to arrive at camp in the morning. I stayed and watched and really was impressed with the skills and methods they used to teach as well as the values and sportsmanship that they taught. We had several camps to chose from this year and I didn't know anything about any of them, I chose the one closest to my home, which happened to be Challenger Sports. Next year I will chose Challenger again for my kids no matter what the location. We will probably host a coach next year as well. Thank you again for a wonderful week of soccer. Shannon Gohrmann

ARKANSAS - We had an awesome Camp and were sad to see the coaches leave today. We did not hear one negative comment all week - Julie did a great job! All of the coaches were fantastic and we are ready to adopt ours, Ben Cunningham. Everyone was so excited to see Richard Press again, also. This was our son's 4th camp and our 2nd year to host. We appreciate all the work you do to make this such a memorable experience for our family.
Thanks, Sarah Franke

ARKANSAS - I just wanted to let you know that I had a great experience as a first time coordinator!! The groups of "kids" you sent to Bentonville were great and seemed to really get along great. I particularly hosted two great guys, although Chris is quite feisty!! I would not have had it any other way. You will have to take a look at Ian's sideburnless look. He
will never forget his haircut I am sure. Anyway, I had a blast and feel quite sad today as it is all over until next year. As you all say, it was "Brilliant!!" Let me know if there are any loose ends to tie up. If all the coaches want to come back again next year, they have an open invitation. Thanks for all your help!! Julie

MARYLAND - These are my kids, Stevie (5) and George (8) who just finished your camp in Ocean Pines, Maryland. I was overwhelmingly pleased with their coaches (Andy and Paul) as well as the instructional content of the camp itself. The coaches were very patient, kind and imaginative in their instruction. I only wish camp would have lasted another week and I'm certain my kids feel the same way. We look forward to seeing you next year. Keep up the good work. Sincerely, Michele Eppard-Annis

NEW HAMPSHIRE - I just wanted to write to you to thank you for putting on such a fun camp for us here in Weare. My daughter Lily had Coach Tom for the Mini soccer camp and loved it! I wanted to email you some photos I took during the week. I especially love the one with Coach Tom wearing Lily's Crazy Hat! Seriously though, the camp was great and a perfect introduction to soccer for her age group. The cost was very reasonable and we will definitely be signing up next year. Thanks again, Dawn Stockbridge Weare, NH

WISCONSIN - CHALLENGER SOCCER CAMP ROCKS. ALL THE COACHES FROM ELKHORN, WI RULE. THANKS FOR TEACHING USE NEW SOCCER SKILLS!! ALL OF THE KIDS FROM ELKHORN SOCCER CLUB!

ILLINOIS - It was truly an honor and privilege to host Andrew Brookfield and Michael Smith last week at the Carbondale camp. They were above and beyond what one would expect from house guests and soccer coaches. I was amazed at their sensitivity to the needs and nuances of each of us. Both were extremely good role models for my son, Brody. They are charming gentlemen and it was sad to tell them goodbye. We miss you, Andy & Mike! Thanks for teaching us the WJ "total body fitness workout"! The DeMattei Family

NEW HAMPSHIRE - I just want to say that the British Soccer camp that the Pelham Rec Dept. is supporting, is an excellent program. Not only does it teach the kids different techniques, it also teaches the kids respect, good sportsmanship, and how to have fun playing the game instead of just playing to win. I believe that the rec dept. is having another "camp" in August. This June, it was for a week, and you could have either afternoon or mornings. They even have programs for kids at age 4 and 5 year olds. You child gets a soccer ball, a t-shirt, and one of those band bracelets that are so popular now. I can't say enough about the guys. They are great. They encourage the kids and really make them feel good about themselves. My oldest son has always taken a little extra time to make friends (he's a little shy), but at this camp, he really feels part of a team and has made some friends rather quickly. It is just so good for his self esteem. If anyone has an opportunity to send their kids to this program, I recommend that you do. Even if your child isn't really into soccer, this will teach so much more and they will have so much fun. Have fun at soccer camp. Sincerely, Danielle

OHIO - This is for the coaches who attended Wadsworth, Ohio Soccer Camp. Just a special thanks to all 4 coaches who did a wonderful job of teaching Felicia her basic needs in soccer. Steve and Chris did an excellent job in making her feel like she could succeed in about anything in soccer. Steve's patience and Chris's sense of humor made the week go by smoothly for us both. I would like to thank Gaz also for making Felicia feel welcome, as a first time soccer player. Although Sandy taught the little peoples I would like to thanks him as well for making us laugh during our breaks. Again a special thanks to all 4 coaches for being a blessing to be around.... I hope to see all 4 of you next year... And Please keep in touch for that will make Felicia's day, continuing to talk to you.... Thanks again, Amber

ALABAMA - I just can't say enought about how great your program is. My 6 year old just finished a week of camp here in Cullman,Al. Coach Karl, Ian, and James were the greatest. Their professionalism, enthusiam, and love of the game was evident each day. They were wonderful with the kids! My son learned basic skills and never felt out of place with the 'bigger' kids. There definitely is an art to including all ages appropriately. Please send our regards and thanks along. Sincerely, Lauren Sanders

IOWA - Dear Coach Paul and Coach Ashley aka. "Legend" and "Gaffer" Thank you for doing such a great job this week. I really enjoyed all the fun activities like the sticky brownie contest, silly hat day, and making our own sports drinks. Oh, and I also liked the soccer. I learned a lot of cool things like toe taps, power and finesse, and the outside and dragback turns. I am sure that everything I learned will help me next soccer season. I will definitely be back again next year, and hopefully you will get o come back to Polk City and coach us again. Thanks again, South Africa's #1, Dylan Husby

CALIFORNIA - Camp has been so fun this week. I can not wait to pick dates for next year. The kids have had a great time, the parents are happy that their children are learning so much, and I am happy that it is so easy! The coaches (Brent Burns and Shaun Patterson) are extremely nice and have a ton of energy. Especially in this heat. Today was about 100 degrees. I have included some of the pictures from today's sticky brownie event. Thanks and have a great day! Janice Bardone Sports and Recreation Director Visalia YMCA

BRAD PIT! - hi i can not tell you how much i loved soccer camp this year. we played in the rain and we got soked and still had fun. we had games that were fun. coach Andy And Joe were the best i have gone to 3 years of this camp this was my favorite year out of all three. next year send back coach Nic, Halie, and Andy, Joe. thank you for being good conslers. oh yea andy looks like brad pit. see you next year love, becky buchanan

MARYLAND - I want to extend a heart felt thanks to my children’s coaches this past week. Coach Leighton and Coach Rob bought the love of the soccer back to my daughter through drills, games, and especially laughter. It was a joy to see her having so much fun and anxiously awaiting the next day. My son started in the mini camp this week and had a blast. Coaches Jerelle and Sean stuck with them and made magic happen with their patience and understanding. My hats go off to all of you!! Thanks again for everything. We will certainly return next summer. Cheers! Donna Will, Calvert County, Md.

MARYLAND -We just finished off the week with the British Soccer Cap in Cumberland MD and the boys loved it! Coaches Paul Campbell, Toby Cook and Owen Taylor were great! This is our second year for attending this camp for our family. Toby was great with Colby and as Colby puts it "thanks Coach Toby, I had fun!" I was amazed at Toby's patience with his group of 4-5 year olds. He kept them engaged which isn't easy for that age group. The manner in which the game was presented to them worked like a charm. Colby talked for days about being a strawberry and playing monster games. Coach Paul had my other 2 boys ages 6 and 9. I was impressed at how he kept everything running smoothly with all the kids. The boys had a great time and they learned al lot from their coach. Joe is still running around beating his chest yelling I eat roast beef 3 days later. All the coaches were professional and they seemed to really enjoy working with the kids. They had endless patience with them! We can't wait to have another go at the camp next year! Great job coaching! The Flowers Family

CALIFORNIA - Andy and Chris who coached a camp in Antelope, Califorina were the best coaches. Andy and Chris were so cool they had the funnest games and activities ever.

VIRGINIA - I wanted to send a note letting you know how great my daughter’s soccer camp was this week. Tom Brook is here doing a super job! He coached my daughter’s group of 3 and 4 year olds. The other parents and I were all quite impressed with his patience and amazing skill in dealing with these little ones. He is laid back, very personable, and imaginative. The camp was a great experience and we can’t wait for the next camp in August. Thank you! Penny’s Mom; Hanover County, Virginia

INDIANA - I am writing to let you know how much my kids enjoyed your soccer camp. Coaches, Sandy, Gordy, and Kerry were in Indiana last week, and they are truly top notch. I cannot express how great they were with all of the kids. Both of the girls were anxious to go out in the 90 degree heat we were having to learn with them. They made the camp fun while teaching many skills. As a youth coach, I also picked up various ideas that will be helpful for my own practices. On a final note, the girls definitely want to attend camp again next year, and they both hope to see Sandy, Gordon and Kerry again. Thanks much, from the Dooley clan.

NEBRASKA - Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed having Steven and James for our coaches. They fit perfectly into our community and the kids loved them both! I do feel it was hectic for them due to the numbers, but they handled it with professionalism and skill. We would encourage their return to our camp anytime in the future. It was a fun and exciting week and they proved themselves as real gentleman. Yours Sincerely, Sherry Zimmerman

CALIFORNIA - Our eldest son, Ryan, went through this camp for the first time with coach Nicki Lynch. He enjoyed it so much, he's looking forward to the next one! We were very impressed with the way Nicki worked with the children and teaching them skills, drills and the most important, Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Leadership & Sportmanship. We can't say enough about this camp and the coaches. It's all positive and we're looking forward to our youngest going through the experience in a few weeks. Cheers! The Chang Gang

FLORIDA - I was not sure where the feedback should be sent, but this seemed the best place I could find. I want to express my gratitude towards Coach Luke last week during our soccer camp in Satellite Beach, Florida. Luke did a excellent job teaching and controlling the kids and considering he volunteered for both mini kid camps back to back would impress most parents for such a young man. Keep up the great work and enjoy the remainder of your college classes. Thanks, Steve Voepel

CALIFORNIA - Coach Adden is a Cool Teacher by J. Gronlund
My favorite teacher is my soccer coach named, Coach Adden. My coach made playing soccer really wonderful. He made going to soccer fun by telling us jokes, eating smashed brownies on his face, and creating new exciting activities each day. Coach Adden came from England to the greatest place on Earth, California, just to teach soccer. For example, he came out on a plane to teach in California for three weeks. He taught us how to do new tricks. One of the tricks he taught us was to step over the ball and kick the other way. I hope my soccer coach comes next year and teaches me again.

ILLINOIS - My son Andrew just attended your soccer camp held in Champaign ILL. I just wanted to say how impressed I am with this program. This was our first year with the program and we were a little nervous not knowing what to expect. We thought if we were going to participate we would go all the way and host a coach as well. Wow what a week we had. First I have to tell you about our coach Stuart Gander. This young man is the most gentle, kind and wonderful coach. He will always remain a part of our family. His picture is already up on the wall with all the other family photos. We had a short five days with him in our home and on the field however it did not take long to realize that we had found ourselves hosting the best coach of all. He was very professional, knowledgeable and funny. We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to host Stuart Gander as he has forever changed our lives.Stuart will be missed no is already missed. It was very hard not only for my son but for my daughter who did not attend the camp and myself as well to say good-bye too him. We felt as though a part of our family was leaving and we all know with that comes with some tears .Stuart fit in with our family as though we have known him forever. My son loved the game before but gained so much more from attending your camp and hosting Stuart, not only about the game but about himself. Stuart Gander is without a doubt the best coach in England and we would love the opportunity to host him again if he would agree to come back for yet another crazy week in our home. Stuart was from another region and was pulled to Champaign to help out with this camp. We are so very thankful that when called upon he answered and came to Champaign .There are no words to describe how thankful we are to you or how much our time with you meant to us but here goes. Stuart thank you so very much for making our week a fantastic one. You will remain in our hearts forever. You inspired Andrew to work hard and sharpen his skills as a player of the worlds greatest game. This fall as he moves up to the next level he will proudly display your number 7 as his number and wear a blue band on his left arm to always remind himself of your inspiration. In addition I would like to say thank you to all the other coaches who made this camp a great experience for my son. So a big thank you to Matt Denny, Barry Munro, Gareth Munro, Fiona Simpson, Ed Kelsing, Owen Liv, Ben Loney, Steve Walton, Jamie Devine, Christopher Porteous and last but not least Stuart Gander.
Sincerely, The Richardson Family

PENNSYLVANIA - Just a note of sincere thanks to Challenger Sports for an absolutely fantastic Summer experience. Our daughter just finished her first soccer camp here in West Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, but it certainly won't be her last. Her coach, Paul Campbell, was outstanding. He not only kept a group of 4 and 5 year olds entertained for two hours each day for a week, but also managed to teach them basic soccer fundamentals. Now all our daughter wants to do is play soccer in the back yard. She also made a new friend in her coach who will always be welcome to coach here and be a guest in our house. Thanks again for offering such a terrific program and staffing it with such talented young people. Cheers! The Consedine Family

WISCONSIN - I just wanted to take the time to say that my daughter, Meghan had a great time at soccer campt this past week in Poynette, Wisconsin. Thanks so much Coach Paul for doing such a terrific job with the kids and keeping soccer fun and keeping them interested. Meghan looked forward to camp each day and was a bit sad when it was done. She can look at video tape and pictures and has made many memories. She learned a lot at camp. Thanks also to the coordinator, Debbie Simon for all her work in bringing the camp back this year.
Thanks, The Witt Family

CALIFORNIA - The British Soccer Camp went very well this week, I talked to many parents and they were very pleased. Quite a few of them will return to the second camp in August. I would like to request having Matt and Seb back to coach in August. I REALLY hope that works out. They both were great with the kids and have a great camaraderie which is a good thing when working alongside someone. Thanks again for a great week. You really did send me the "BEST". Matt and Seb were outstanding house guests, great role models to the children on camp, and are great ambassadors for Challenger Sports. I look forward to having you come again for promotional stuff in July and wakeboarding (of course). Janet

TEXAS - I'm sorry, but I have to complain about camp this week. I honestly have no idea how you will ever be able to top the wonderful experience that everyone had this week. All of your coaches were nothing shy of being totally professional at all times. I have received nothing but complements on how the camp was conducted, and the never ending enthusiasm from all of the coaches. I have to commend you and your team of a job well done! I'm sure you already know what a great bunch of coaches you have, but I must brag. Everyday ran like clock work. There was never a dull moment for the kids or their parents. All of the coaches never lost sight on what this camp is about, the kids. They kept there games moving so that the kids would not lose interest. They were always encouraging, and cheering for each individual child. I truly believe all of this was made possible by our camp director, Ben Beer. From all of my host families, I have been told what a great experience each of them had. I was constantly told how respectful the coaches were to their families, and the great manners they displayed while in their homes. In return these families also shared their experience with others. By the end of camp, I was flooded with people begging to host next time. I would be interested in having more than one camp during the summer. I know we will have an even better turn out with all the pleased campers telling their friends. Also I would be very interested in hearing more about your Fall and Spring coaching program. Please call me to discuss this. From the bottom of my heart and everyone who attended the camp,
Thank You! The Richins Family.

MICHIGAN -
My children ages 10 & 12 just attended your camp in Warren, Michigan. They had a ball and can't wait to return next year. Scott Hamilton and Adam (can't remember the last name) coached kids and were fun, enthusiastic and very talented. By the first day, Scott and Adam knew all the kids by name and greeted them each day by name. It made it so much more personal but yet the kids learned a lot since they were having so much fun. We had a family commitment and had to miss the last day of camp. My kids were crushed. It was a very hot week in Michigan. Even in the blazing heat of the afternoon, the kids still wanted to keep going every day. We got there early often and the guys showed them special moves even before the official start time. Our children had a few friends from the school join them at camp. All three kids had a great time. My kids and their friends all attend the same Catholic school. It is refreshing to see a camp that re-enforces Christian values of respect, integrity and leadership. We plan to invite my sons entire Catholic school team to next years camp. Thanks for such a great week. The Toft Family

OHIO - I had two children attend your morning camp this week (a 9 year old girl and a 7 year old boy). They had the best time! Loved every minute - not only the soccer but also the great spirit of the camp. Their coaches, Danny and Oliver, especially Danny who ran the show did a marvellous job of getting the children moving and motivated. They loved the activities they were set each day for the following day and kept themselves busy making flags, finding out information about their countires in the world cup and making icky, sticky brownies every afternoon. The coaches showed them great example and while teaching them lots kept a great balance with fun and good humour. We took the camp last year and will definitely do it again next year! Thanks Challenger and thanks to all the Antrim Park coaches - we loved you, The Lennon Family

TEXAS - Thank you so much for all of your effort at last weeks soccer camp in Frisco. My daughter had a great time! Thank you also to the amazing team of Coaches. They, not only, helped the children with their soccer skills, but also, gave them an appreciation for the sport. Even those that do not continue to play will always be fans. Special thanks to COACH LAURA for all of her spirit, patience, and her positive attitude.
Sincerely, The Stanislaus Family

TEXAS - I want to thank Colin Smith for all of your hard work with Tyler at the Greenville, TX soccer camp. You were the best coach I have seen yet! HONESTLY! Your personality is so wonderful that, day after day, I never regretted sitting and watching from the sidelines in the scorching sun. (Not to mention there was never a dry moment on the field.) You have set such an example for my son that his skills and patience show every second of your hard driven talent. It was amazing to me to see the improvement on day 5 with all the kids. Your presence in our lives will never be forgotten!!!! You sir, are TOP CLASS!!!!!!!
The Wilburn Family

ALABAMA - This is in regards to the soccer camp that was held in Montgomery AL June 13th thru June 17th. This was the second year our daughter attended Challenger Sports Soccer Camps. She is 8 years old. We had the pleasure this year of being coached by a young lady named Becci. I wish I had gotten her last name, because we would like her Regional Directors to know what an outstanding job of instructing these young and eager children she did. I think all involved walked away with a little more knowledge and enthusiasm
for the game of soccer. Thank You for giving our youth this opportunity.

MICHIGAN - I just wanted to offer a special thank-you to Jason, who coached my daughter Caitie at the recent Challenger Soccer Camp, held in Alpena, Michigan last week, and the wonderful organizer, Jodi Nash. My daughter loved each day of the camp, said she learned a lot, and is now looking forward to trying travel soccer in the fall. This is about the third Challenger soccer camp she's attended, and enjoyed each one. Again, please pass on my gratitude and appreciation to both Jason and Jodi Nash.

KANSAS - I just wanted to take this opportunity to say what a great time my children had at the camp in Leavenworth hosted by LSA. We hosted Ben Loney and my family has definitely has made a new friend that we will stay in touch with. My son was coached by Stuart Gander, and he just loved him, he now has a new outlook on the game. I just wanted to take the time to say that these are two outstanding young men and the camp was outstanding, I will continue to send my kids to camp and will host a coach next year if I can. Ben fit into my family like we had known him for years and we thank Challenger for having such high a high quality camp and coaches.
Thank you, The Sparks Family

NEVADA - My son just ended the first soccer camp in Sparks, NV, and I just wanted to say how impressed we were with the camp, it's format, and the coaches. Brent and Chris were professional, knowledgeable, funny, and knew how to keep the kids interested for the week. I even enjoyed watching the camp! We were blessed to have the opportunity to host Chris Leetham for the week, and what an outstanding young man he is. He fit right in with our family, and I hope that he's able to come back here next year; we'll be delighted to host
him, and Brent. We hope they had as good a time in Reno/Sparks as we did having them here. Thank you for picking such fine young men. They are a great asset to your program. The Ikehara Family

IDAHO - Just wanted to let Mark, Michael, and Graham know how much I appreciated how they treated my grand-daughter Kylie Timmons during the camp this past week in Caldwell, Idqaho - - they were wonderful to her and made her experience a very good one - as she is a newbie to the sport of soccer and was really not looking forward to going to this camp. She really enjoyed herself and the coaches. Again - thanks to all 3 of you.

TEXAS - My three and seven year olds just finished your soccer camp. They both loved it. My youngest didn't even mind waiting two more hours for his sister to finish after his class. Your coaches were excellent players and trained very well to deal with even the most challenging campers. I would like to thank Coach Andy, Ryan, Craig, Craig, Monty, Laura and James for enduring the Texas heat and sunburns to put on a great camp!
We will see you next year!
Sincerely, The Cox Family

TEXAS - What a blast! Before this week my son Caedmon had never had any soccer experience. Coaches James & Monte did a fantastic job and Caedmon's first soccer experience was a really good one. I really appreciate their patience and good nature as my "rascally" 4 year old son was often "doin' his own thing!" We'll be back next year!
P.S. Please get James some SPF 50!

OKLAHOMA - My four year old son, Jayce, just finished camp today and he absolutely loved it! He went for 3 hours a day and still wanted to stay longer. Coach Jack was great! Jayce would laugh after practice at how Jack "talked funny", as he would say. We definitely look forward to camp next year. We will also sign up to host a coach. Both coaches were delightful young men.

TEXAS -
I am writing regarding Sara Wilson. My two daughters were involved with the camp where she was the director (Grapevine, TX). Sara is an outstanding young woman. She was knowledgeable, nurturing, organized, and FUN. She ran a great camp and she is a wonderful asset to your program. This is my girls' second year with the camp and while the camp last year was good, Sara and the other coaches, Rob and Barry, made this an especially exceptional camp.

OKLAHOMA - On behalf of the McCurtain County Soccer Club, I would like to thank you and your organization for providing us with the opportunity to host our second annual Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp. Our club continues to be impressed with the quality of tuition offered at such a reasonable cost. This years coaches, Jamie Leeper and Steve Taylor not only provided our members with first class soccer instruction, but also proved to be remarkable ambassadors for both their employer and their country. These two gentlemen carried themselves in a most courteous manner for their entire stay, impressing all they met with a professionalism beyond their years. Our board would not hesitate to offer either of them positive references in the future. Similarly, neither did we hesitate in securing a camp for next year, due in large to their excellent performance.
Yours Sincerely, Ian Gilmore MCSC Board Officer.
